Clarifying boundaries and ownership of historical sites and resolving related complications

The project aims to conduct advanced surveying work on 40 historical sites in Makkah and Madinah, and to establish ground and guidance survey points according to the standards and specifications approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and relevant authorities. This is accomplished by adjusting the traverse network for each site and monitoring the survey points. The control points near each site are then reviewed, their accuracy verified, and a detailed survey of the area is prepared according to the work points specified for each phase.
• The detailed survey was carried out according to the scope of work specified for each phase. A GPS device and a 3D scanner were used to quickly collect data for some buildings, with the aim of creating accurate models.
• The 3D scanner features a 360-degree rotation around a vertical axis, enabling it to capture all internal and external details of buildings with high accuracy.
• These technologies ensure high levels of accuracy in data collection, especially in locations with limited access. These methods also enhance the reliability of results and contribute to achieving the quality standards required in engineering projects.
